Since I have already written extensively on these chapters, this post is just a teaser to show you how important imagination is in business. Traditionally, imagination was seen as a skill more applicable to the arts rather than business or science.
Albert Einstein
Let me quote what Albert Einstein said in a 1929 interview about imagination.
“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution.”
Read that again and think deeply about what he said. What is your response to his statement? This was eight years before Napoleon Hill published Think and Grow Rich.
It took Mr. Hill 20 years to write it. Just imagine, he was in the middle of his work when Einstein gave this response to imagination.
Let’s look at how imagination is addressed in Think and Grow Rich. Let me quote the 1st paragraph from this book:
“The imagination is literally the workshop whereon are fashioned all plans created by man. The impulse, the desire, is given shape, form and action through the aid of the imaginative faculty of the mind.”
The second paragraph in this chapter sums it all up: “It has been said that man can create anything which he can imagine”
There is a famous related saying that what the mind can conceive, it can achieve. You can authentically substitute imagine for conceive.
Imagination and Your Business
How does this apply to your business? More specifically to your online business where you use your website, instead of a bricks and mortar store to create an income.
You can use your imagination during the planning phase of your business to give it a successful launch. As your business progresses, there will be problems that arise.
